Update #3: Ongoing hazardous materials incident

We can confirm that the transport of the hazardous materials has been successfully completed in relation to the ongoing incident in the Manchester Industrial area. All of the hazardous materials have been transported to a safe location, where the controlled detonations will continue later today, Thursday, Aug. 28, 2025, with minimal disruption to the public. 

At this time the evacuation order previously in place for the Manchester Industrial area has been lifted. We will be working with our partners to collapse the closures of the impacted areas as soon as possible.

All previous road closures and transit impacts are no longer in place.
