Update #3: Missing child – Parker

We continue to ask for the public's help in locating Parker, 11, and are providing an update on the extensive search and investigative efforts underway to find him.

Today, we are releasing a new image of Parker captured on CCTV footage on Thursday, July 16, 2026 at 12:52 p.m. taken in the 5000-6000 block of Travis Crescent N.E. We are hopeful this image will assist the public in recognizing him and provide new information about his whereabouts.

Since he was reported missing, the Calgary Police Service has dedicated significant resources to locating Parker. Investigators, patrol officers and specialized units continue to work around the clock to examine every possible lead and search areas where Parker may have travelled. Approximately 30 tips have been received and assessed by investigators. Officers have reviewed, or are currently reviewing, approximately 50 hours of CCTV, residential security camera and dashcam footage. More than 200 CPS members have assisted in the search effort. And officers have conducted door to door inquires in all the surrounding communities and continue to canvas the area.

Investigators continue to identify, collect and review additional video footage and other evidence related to Parker's movements. Search efforts continue in the communities of Cambrian Heights, Thorncliffe, North Haven, North Haven Upper, Highwood, Highland Park, Greenview, Greenview Industrial Park, Nose Hill Park and surrounding areas. Today, approximately 100 to 120 trained search volunteers coordinated through Search and Rescue Alberta are assisting with search operations in northwest Calgary.

Members of the public may continue to see a significant police and search presence in these communities, including our Air Support Unit, Mounted Patrol Team, Mountain Bike Unit, Canine Unit, patrol officers, investigators and trained search volunteers.

We remain grateful for the tremendous community support we have received and encourage residents to continue assisting in safe and meaningful ways.

We encourage residents to continue assisting in the following ways:

• Checking their properties thoroughly, including garages, sheds, backyards, hot tubs, swimming pools, under decks and other places where a child may seek shelter or hide.
• Reviewing residential CCTV and security camera footage. Only if Parker is observed, please upload the footage using the following link: https://cps.ca.evidence.com/axon/community-request/public/ca26318270. If seen, continue reviewing that footage as Parker may circle back at a later time.
• Sharing Parker's photo with family, friends and neighbours and on social media.
• Remaining observant while travelling through their communities, including parks, pathways, green spaces and alleys.

For public safety reasons, we ask community members not to enter private property without permission or place themselves at risk while searching. With warm temperatures expected, anyone assisting by checking their neighbourhood should ensure they stay hydrated, take regular breaks and prioritize their personal safety.

Parker was last seen shirtless, wearing grey shorts and black noise-cancelling headphones. He is described as 4'11" tall, weighing approximately 90 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes.

He was last seen at his day home in the 0 to 100 block of Connaught Drive N.W. sometime between 11:08 and 11:41 a.m. on Thursday, July 16, 2026. Articles of clothing believed to belong to Parker were found around noon in the 0 to 100 block of Northmount Drive N.W.

Parker is neurodivergent and non-verbal and may become even more scared if confronted by strangers.  

There is nothing to indicate foul play is involved. Although this case does not meet the Government of Alberta’s legislated threshold for an AMBER Alert, we are working with our partners at the Missing Children's Society of Canada to issue an alert in hopes of locating Parker.
