Update 2: Homicide Unit investigating fatal shooting in Homestead

We are asking for information from the public to help advance our investigation into the fatal shooting of John Noon OCHELO in the northeast community of Homestead.

OCHELO was found deceased in a vehicle parked behind his residence located in the 200 block of Homestead Drive N.E., at approximately 7:20 p.m., on Friday, Oct. 18, 2024.

We have located CCTV footage of a vehicle of interest that was seen in the area prior to the shooting and later fleeing east of Calgary. The vehicle is described as a white 2021 to 2024 Nissan Armada with tinted front windows.

We are asking for the public’s help to locate the vehicle and its owner.
