Update 2: Charges laid in hate-motivated assault

Kyle THOMPSON, 32, of Calgary, has been charged with one count of uttering threats and three counts of assault in connection to a hate-motivated assault that occurred downtown on Thursday, July 3, 2025.

THOMPSON will next appear in court on Friday, Oct. 17, 2025.
