Update – Victim identified in fatal assault

The victim of a fatal assault that occurred last week in the southeast community of Ogden has been identified.

At approximately 9 p.m., on Wednesday, March 25, 2026, police were called for reports of a physical altercation occurring in a home in the 2300 block of Crestwood Road S.E.

Upon arrival, police located a man in his 20s suffering from life-threatening injuries. He was transported to the hospital where he later died.

The suspects fled the scene prior to police arrival.

After completion of an autopsy conducted by the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner, the victim has been identified as 28-year-old Dor THOR METKURJOCK.

Investigators are working to locate the suspects however; this is believed to be a domestic-related incident and there is no threat to public safety.
