UPDATE – Person of interest in summer fatal shooting identified, not considered a suspect

In July, a 27-year-old Calgary man was found deceased in the northeast community of Falconridge.

At the time, we were looking for a person we believed to have critical information about the shooting. This person has since been identified and located and is not considered a suspect.

The Homicide Unit continues to investigate the shooting. Investigators believe this to be a targeted incident and do not have any suspects in custody at this time.
