UPDATE - Police asking for the public’s help to locate missing man - CROSS

As of Wednesday, Feb. 1, 2023, Nigel Edgar CROSS, has not been located or in contact with his family. We believe Nigel may have attended a 7-Eleven convenience store, located at 4001 Macleod Trail S.W., at approximately 12 a.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 31, 2023.

Based on initial information received, Nigel’s approximate height was previously reported as 5’8” tall. We can now confirm his correct height is 6’2” tall.

Anyone with information about his movements since his last confirmed sighting near Sunridge Mall on Friday, Jan. 20, 2023, is asked to contact police.

We are seeking assistance from the public to help locate a Calgary man who has not been in contact with his family since leaving his home in the northeast community of Castleridge earlier this month.

Nigel Edgar CROSS, 24, was reported missing by a family member on Wednesday, Jan. 18, 2023, after he did not return home or contact family since leaving his residence in the 0-100 block of Castlepark Road N.E. on Tuesday, Jan. 10, 2023.

Nigel also uses the last name POWDER.

He was last seen near Sunridge Mall, located at 2525 36 St. N.E., at approximately 8:40 a.m. on Friday, Jan. 20, 2023. His family and police are concerned for his welfare as it is out of character for him to remain out of contact with family for this long.

Nigel is described as approximately 6’2” tall and 160 pounds, with black hair, brown eyes and a scar on his upper lip. He was last seen wearing a grey and black jacket, black toque, black pants and a blue medical mask.

He often wears a blue medical mask and is known to frequent the CTrain line between City Hall and Rundle stations.
