Two people charged with possession of weapons and stolen property

The Calgary Police Service has charged two people with 20 charges, including possession of weapons and stolen property.

On the early morning of Friday, March 29, 2019, police were called to a convenience store in the 2900 block of Centre Street N.W. When officers arrived on scene they found a woman with a gash on her forehead.

The woman was at a friend’s residence in the 3300 block of 1 Street N.W., when an altercation occurred between her, a female guest and the male resident, resulting in a firearm being discharged.

Both the man and woman were arrested a short time later, exiting a stolen vehicle. A search warrant of the residence produced two firearms; a sawed-off shotgun and a semi-automatic weapon.

Jeremy NEAULT, 39, of Calgary is charged with:

  • Four counts of possession of a weapon contrary to order
  • Five counts of breach of recognizance
  • Two counts of unsafe storage
  • Pointing a firearm
  • Possession of a firearm knowingly not holding a licence
  • Possession of a prohibited/restricted firearm
  • Possession of a prohibited/restricted firearm with ammunition
  • Careless use of a firearm
  • Possession of stolen property under $5,000

Jessica KELLY, 23, of Calgary, is charged with:

  • Possession of methamphetamines
  • Possession of stolen property under $5,000
  • Assault with a weapon
