Two men sought in connection with 2019 homicide

The Calgary Police Service Homicide Unit is asking the public for their help in identifying two persons of interest in relation to the death of Matthew David MANIAGO.

At approximately 11:45 p.m., on Monday, Oct. 7, 2019, police were called to the 100 block of Mount Aberdeen Manor S.E., for reports of a man in medical distress laying in the street. Officers responded with members of EMS, however the man died at the scene.

Following an autopsy, investigators confirmed that the victim, MANIAGO, 29, died as a result of multiple gunshot wounds.

We are looking to identify two men who are persons of interest in relation to the death of MANIAGO and believed to have information about the incident.

Photos of the two men are available on the City of Calgary Newsroom. No descriptions are available at this time. 

Last year, we released photos of two vehicles believed to be involved. Police are still looking for the white 2007 to 2009 Honda CRV.
