Two injured in Falconridge shooting

The Calgary Police Service is investigating a shooting incident in the northeast this morning that injured two people.

At approximately 4 a.m., today, Sunday, Oct. 15, 2017, emergency crews were called to the 300 block of Falconridge Crescent N.E., for reports of a shooting.

When crews arrived they found two people, a man and woman, with wounds consistent with being shot. Both were transported to hospital with serious injuries.

It’s believed the two victims were sitting in a car outside of a residence when a vehicle approached and shots were fired. This is not believed to be a random incident.
