The Surete du Quebec police arrested two people in Montreal yesterday on behalf of the Calgary Police Service Homicide Unit in relation to the weekend murder in Dover.

At approximately 3:30 a.m., Saturday, Oct. 28, 2017, officers were called to an apartment building in the of 3400 block of 31A Avenue S.E. Upon arrival, they found a deceased male in his 20s.

During the course of the investigation it was revealed a suspicious vehicle, a black Dodge truck, was seen fleeing the scene. The vehicle was identified and was reported stolen on Sunday, Oct. 29, 2017.

On Tuesday, Oct. 31, 2017, Surete du Quebec police alerted CPS that they had pulled over the black Dodge truck, believed to be connected to the investigation. Two men were taken into custody and arrested for murder after collaboration with the CPS Homicide Unit.
