One person charged in relation to KIMMEL homicide investigation

A woman has been charged in relation to the Fletcher KIMMEL homicide investigation.

On Friday, Sept. 29, 2017, two women were taken into custody in connection with the investigation. One woman was charged, and the other was released without charges.

Stephanie Lee OUTRAM, 33, of Calgary, has been charged with causing indignity to a human body. She was also arrested on 20 outstanding unrelated warrants. She will next appear in court on Tuesday, Oct. 3, 2017.

Investigators have also identified the man believed to have used KIMMEL’s bank card at a convenience store on Sunday, Oct. 9, 2016. The man has been interviewed and has been released without charges at this time.

Two in custody in relation to KIMMEL homicide

Two people are in police custody in relation to the Fletcher KIMMEL homicide.

Following a public appeal for information last week, police were able to further the investigation and have arrested two women. Charges are pending. Their names will be released after they have been seen by a Justice of the Peace.

Fletcher KIMMEL, 30, was last seen at a northeast convenience store on Tuesday, Sept. 27, 2016, where he was seen getting into a black Toyota Rav4. His disappearance was treated as a missing person’s file until his body was located on Sunday, Jan. 29, 2017, in wooded area near the Jumpingpound Demonstration Forest.
