Three people charged with theft of high-value clothing

We have arrested three people after a clothing store in the Beltline was robbed over the weekend.

At around 12:45 p.m. on Sunday, Feb.1, 2026, security staff at a retail store in the 700 block of 17 Avenue S.W. called police, believing two men and one woman had taken several items of clothing off the shelves and walked out of the store.

Security staff took pictures of the suspects and sent them to police.

Based on additional information provided by store security, police were able to identify a suspect vehicle and conducted a traffic stop near Brentwood Blvd., N.W,  shortly after 1:30 p.m.

Three people were inside and were arrested

Police also seized cocaine, bear spray and a knife from the vehicle.

The items stolen from store, valued at more than $5,000, were found inside the vehicle and returned to the store security staff.

Brie ROBERTSON, 43, of Calgary, is charged with:

·         One count of theft over $5,000

Taylor Ray CALFCHILD, 30, of Calgary,  is charged with:

·         One count of theft over $5,000

Tony Donovan CRANE, 24, of Calgary, is charged with:

·         One count of theft over $5,000

They will next appear in court on Wednesday, March 11, 2026.
