There’s still time to have your say on The City’s Snow and Ice Policy

There’s still time to have your say on The City’s Snow and Ice Policy.

The City’s Snow and Ice Policy review survey closes at midnight on March 25. Calgarians can visit engage.calgary.ca/snow and complete a short survey to help us understand their experiences during the winter months.

Earlier this month, The City kicked off a public engagement survey about our Snow and Ice Control Policy and we have already received thousands of responses. The goal is to gain a better understanding of your experiences with our City snow services during the winter months, no matter how you travel. We want to thank all the Calgarians who have taken their time to provide feedback on this important topic.

“The City has experienced a lot of change since 2011 when the Snow and Ice policy was originally developed,” says Adam Pawlak, Leader of Planning and Operations at Roads. “By participating in this public engagement, you are helping ensure your story is part of the conversation."

We encourage all Calgarians to share their winter experiences in the survey. Input from Calgarians will help identify where The City can enhance services for our citizens to help shape a better future.

The City will develop a detailed "What we heard" report once the online survey is complete and report back to Council in 2023.
