The City of Calgary to host celebration rally for 2018 Grey Cup Champions, Calgary Stampeders

The City of Calgary is proud to host a celebration rally for the 2018 Grey Cup Champions, Calgary Stampeders, on Tuesday, Nov. 27, 2018 from noon to 1 p.m. at Municipal Plaza.

“The Stamps’ win was absolutely thrilling and I know that Calgarians want to come together and celebrate with the team,” said Mayor Naheed Nenshi. “We’ll also be collecting donations for the Calgary Food Bank at the rally. So come on out, show your Stampeders’ pride, and help your fellow Calgarians at the same time.”

Stamps fans are invited to attend, enjoy some great giveaways, and cheer for their favourite players and coaches as they reflect on the season and the championship game. Enjoy entertainment by Stampeders’ mascot Ralph the Dog, the Outriders cheerleaders and a few special surprises.

“We invite all of our fans to come join us as we celebrate the 2018 Grey Cup championship,” said Stampeders President and General Manager John Hufnagel. “The fans’ enthusiastic support of the Horse was an important part of our success this season. We accomplished this together and now is the time to celebrate together.”

Dress warm in your red and white, and bring a food bank donation. Food trucks will be on site, as well as the Stampeders merchandise trailer, offering official 2018 Grey Cup Championship merchandise.
