Suspicious death in Ranchlands

The Calgary Police Service Homicide Unit has been called out to investigate the discovery of a body in Ranchlands.

Just after 4 p.m., today, Saturday, Nov. 4, 2017, police were called to the 0-100 block of Ranchero Rise N.W., for reports of a deceased man found in a vehicle in the back alley.

Information is limited, however, at this time this death is not believed to be connected to the suspicious death that occurred in Pineridge on Friday. There is no indication this was random.

An autopsy will be scheduled for early next week. No further information is available at this time. Updates will be provided when information becomes available.
