Suspicious death in Legacy

Our Homicide Unit is investigating a suspicious death that occurred in the southeast community of Legacy overnight.

At approximately 2:20 a.m. today, Tuesday, March 11, 2025, we were called to the 200 block of Legacy Boulevard S.E., for reports of a man in medical distress following an altercation inside a residence. Upon arrival, a man was found deceased.

One person was taken into custody at the scene for questioning. This incident is believed to be targeted in nature and there is no risk to the public.

Further information will be shared upon the completion of the autopsy, which is scheduled for Wednesday, March 12, 2025.
