Suspicious death in Forest Lawn

The Calgary Police Service Homicide Unit is investigating a suspicious death that occurred earlier this evening in the city’s southeast.

Just before 10 p.m., on Saturday, March 27, 2021, we were called to the 5200 block of Memorial Drive S.E. for reports of shots fired. Upon arrival, a man in his 30s was found on the street in medical distress. Despite the efforts of first responders, he died at the scene.

An autopsy is scheduled for Monday, March 29, 2021 and no further information is available at this time.
