Suspicious death in downtown Calgary

The Homicide Unit has been called out after a man was located downtown in serious medical distress and transported to hospital where he died earlier this morning.

The man was located around 2:30 a.m., on Monday, Sept. 25, 2023, in the 500 block of 11 Avenue S.W. The nature of the man’s injuries is believed to be suspicious at this time.

An autopsy will be scheduled at a later time. No further information is available at this time.
