Update - Suspicious death in city’s southeast

Our Homicide Unit continues to investigate a suspicious death that occurred in the community of Auburn Bay earlier today.

An autopsy will be conducted by the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner on Monday, June 2, 2025.

No further information will be available until completion of the autopsy.

Our Homicide Unit is currently on scene investigating a suspicious death that occurred in the community of Auburn Bay.

At approximately 2:50 p.m. today, Saturday, May 31, 2025, we were called to the 1000 block of Auburn Bay Circle S.E., for reports of a man who was believed to be deceased in a residence.

Upon arrival, a man was found deceased inside the home, and the circumstances around his death are being investigated.

There is currently no risk to the public.
