Suspicious death – Southeast Calgary

At approximately 8 p.m., Monday, Jan. 16, 2017, police were called to a home in the 100 block of Douglas Bank Way S.E., after receiving numerous calls for reports of a disturbance and a possible break and enter in progress.

When officers arrived on scene they found one man in life-threatening condition and a woman with serious injuries. Both were transported to hospital, where the man succumbed to his injuries.

An autopsy is scheduled for this morning.

The woman remains in hospital.

Officers are still trying to determine the man’s involvement and the exact details that led up to this incident.
