Suspicious Death - Rosscarrock

The Calgary Police Service Homicide Unit has been called out to investigate a suspicious death at a residence in Rosscarrock earlier this evening.

At approximately 10:40 p.m., Tuesday, Jan. 16, 2018, police were called to the 1100 block of 37 Street S.W., for reports of a disturbance. Upon arrival numerous people were located fleeing what is believed to be a house party. The body of a man was discovered in a mall parking lot across the street from the residence. Officers took multiple people into custody for questioning.

An autopsy is expected to be scheduled in the coming days. No charges have been laid yet. Further information will be released when it becomes available.
