Suspect sought in theft from local restaurant

We are seeking public assistance to identify a man suspected of theft from a business in downtown Calgary.

On Friday, July 9, 2021, at approximately 5:30 a.m., 10 patio chairs were stolen from the Simply Irie restaurant located at 1510 6 Street S.W. The suspect cut a chain that was securing the patio and removed the chairs before taking off in an unknown direction.

The same suspect is believed to be connected to several other similar offences against the restaurant.
