Sign up for Paperless Assessment Notices

New this year, The City of Calgary is offering Calgarians the option of going paperless when the 2020 Assessment notices are mailed on Jan. 2.

Property owners can opt to have their assessment notice delivered to their secure account instead of a postal box by going online and signing up for eNotice before Nov. 29. This opt-in service is offered to all property owners as a convenient option with cost savings and environmentally-friendly benefits. Sign up is secure, easy and one-time.

“Each year, The City mails more than 500,000 property assessment notices,” said City Assessor Nelson Karpa. “By choosing eNotice and going paperless, Calgarians can make a positive impact on the environment while saving more than $500,000 annually for The City.”

Property owners who select eNotice will receive their assessment notice electronically on mailing day. Not only does this save printing and mailing costs, it allows Calgarians convenient and direct access to important and time-sensitive information from anywhere they happen to be.

To sign-up for this service, Calgarians can login to their myID account or create a myID account through calgary.ca and register for eNotice. myID is a free, online service that provides citizens and business owners access to multiple City services using a single account. Through myID your information remains private and secure.

To receive an eNotice this January please visit calgary.ca/assessmentsearch and enroll by Nov. 29.
