Sexual assault charges laid against massage therapist

On Friday, Mar. 4, 2016, a woman employed by a massage therapy clinic asked a co-worker for a therapeutic massage. During the massage, the woman was allegedly sexually assaulted by the male massage therapist.

After speaking with a friend about the incident at a later date, the victim contacted police.

On Friday, June 10, 2016, a man was arrested and has now been charged in connection with the offence.

Vladimir SILOCI, 36, a registered massage therapist in Calgary, has been charged with sexual assault. His next court appearance is scheduled for July 11, 2016.

SILOCI worked out of a number of massage clinics throughout northwest Calgary and operated his own massage therapy business.

The Calgary Police Service encourages all victims of sexual assault, or any crime, to report to the police.
