Seeking public assistance in October 2015 bank robbery

The Calgary Police Service Robbery Unit is seeking public assistance to identify a man believed to be responsible for an October 2015 bank robbery.

On Monday, Oct. 26, 2015, at approximately 10:15 a.m., a man entered the Scotiabank located in the 3400 block of 17 Avenue S.W. The man approached a teller and demanded money. He was given an undisclosed amount of money before he fled the bank.

Investigators are now releasing a photo of the man with the hopes of identifying him.

The man is described as 25 to 30 years old, 5’7” to 5’8” tall with dark hair. At the time of the robbery he was wearing a dark hoodie, a baseball hat and jeans. A photo of the man is available on The City of Calgary Newsroom.
