Seeking public assistance in hit-and-run collision

We are looking for dashcam footage and witnesses following a hit-and-run collision that occurred on Deerfoot Trail.

On Saturday, Oct. 28, 2023, at approximately 6:30 p.m., a black Toyota Corolla travelling on northbound Deerfoot Trail, south of 17 Avenue S.E., was struck by an unknown individual driving a black Jeep Cherokee, causing significant damage. The driver of the black Jeep Cherokee failed to remain at the scene following the collision. The driver of the Corolla was transported to hospital with minor injuries.

We continue to investigate this incident and are asking anyone with dashcam footage from northbound Deerfoot Trail, between Glenmore Trail and 17 Avenue S.E., on Saturday, Oct. 28, 2023, between 6:15 and 6:45 p.m., is asked to contact police.
