Seeking public assistance - Sexual assault - N.E. City limits

The Calgary Police Service is seeking public assistance to locate a person who assisted a victim of an alleged sexual assault.

In the late-night hours of Monday, June 17, 2019, and early morning of Tuesday, June 18, 2019, a woman was walking on the shoulder of a highway just outside of city limits, past McKnight Blvd. N.E. The woman is described as Caucasian with a petite frame.

A person driving a vehicle stopped to assist the woman.

Investigators are looking for the driver of the vehicle and any other witnesses who may have seen the woman walking in the area.
