Seeking public assistance - Coral Springs shooting

The Calgary Police Service is seeking the public’s assistance in relation to a shooting in Coral Springs.

At approximately 4:20 p.m., Tuesday, June 4, 2019, a suspect walked up to a home in the 200 block of Coral Keys Place N.E. and shot several rounds from a handgun into the front of the home.

A 24-year-old male resident who was home alone at the time, received minor injuries.

The suspect then left the scene by getting into the passenger side of a silver Hyundai Elantra.

The suspect was dressed in all black with the hood of his sweatshirt tied tightly around his face.

This shooting is believed to be targeted. At this time no links have been established between this shooting and recent homicides in the city.
