Seeking Public Assistance - Attempted theft of ATM

The Calgary Police Service is releasing CCTV photos and video in hopes of identifying two men who allegedly attempted to steal an ATM from a Boston Pizza lobby earlier this week.

At approximately 11:10 p.m., on Tuesday, Sept. 5, 2017, two culprits entered the Boston Pizza located at 2836 Memorial Drive S.E., and hooked up a yellow strap to an ATM located in the foyer area. They then used a vehicle in an attempt to drag the ATM out of the foyer area, without success. The culprits left the area in an SUV when approached by staff.

The vehicle is believed to be an SUV, possibly a BMW X5.

The suspects are described as Caucasian, in their late 20s or early 30s.
