Seeking assistance in pharmacy robbery

We are looking for the public’s help to identify two men who are responsible for robbing a pharmacy in southeast Calgary yesterday

On Tuesday, Sept. 21, 2021, at approximately 10:30 a.m., two unknown men entered a pharmacy located in the 1700 block of 61 Street S.E., and forced three customers into a patient counselling room. The customers were tied up and confined to the room while the men proceeded behind the pharmacy counter and tied up the pharmacist. The suspects then took an undisclosed amount of cash, as well as Cotridin and Oxycocet, before fleeing the scene.

After the suspects left, one of the customers was able to break free and call police. The victims suffered minor injuries as a result of the robbery.

Officers arrived on scene, however were unable to locate the suspects. Investigators are now in the process of reviewing CCTV and examining evidence to identify the suspects.

The two men were described as Black, between the ages of 18 and 22 years old, with skinny builds. Both men were wearing all black clothing, with black jackets, baseball hats and backpacks.
