Report of abducted children located in Ontario

On Monday, Oct. 24, 2016, the Calgary Police Service received a report from a woman who believed her common law partner had left the province with her six children. The CPS Domestic Conflict Unit was called in to assist.

The children were not believed to be in danger and the case did not meet the criteria of an Amber Alert.

The children were located in good condition in Ontario, yesterday, Wednesday, Oct. 26, 2016. The Domestic Conflict Unit is working to coordinate the their return.

Charges are pending, however the name of the accused won't be released to protect the identity of the children.
