Reminder: Media invited to learn about emergency preparedness and disaster alley event

In anticipation of the Disaster Alley emergency preparedness event on Saturday, May 5, 2018 from 11 a.m. - 3 p.m. at McMahon Stadium, media are invited to learn about what Calgarians should do to be well prepared in the event of emergencies like floods, power outages and severe weather events. We will also have activities and demonstrations for the media that show how agencies like Canada Task Force 2 prepare and train for disaster search and rescue. This event is sponsored by the Insurance Bureau of Canada (IBC).
