RCMP uniforms stolen during northwest break and enter
In the interest of public safety, we are notifying citizens of a residential break and enter in the northwest community of Rockland Park that resulted in the theft of several RCMP uniform pieces.
It is believed that sometime between 7:45 a.m. and 12 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 19, 2023, two unknown individuals broke into a residence belonging to an Alberta RCMP member and stole several pieces of jewelry, handbags, wallets, and multiple RCMP uniforms and boots. The total value of the stolen property is over $5,000.

While some pieces of the stolen uniforms have since been recovered, other pieces remain outstanding.
Citizens are reminded that if they have a concern about an individual identifying themselves as a police officer, they can request to see the individual’s police badge and photo identification card.
