Public assistance sought in hit-and-run investigation

We are asking for the public’s help to advance an investigation into a hit-and-run collision that occurred in November 2025.

At about 6:40 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 25, 2025, a 50-year-old woman was struck while crossing in a marked crosswalk at Centre Street and Eighth Avenue N.W. A light-coloured sedan hit the woman and continued northbound on Centre Street without stopping.

The woman was transported to the hospital. While she did not sustain life-threatening injuries, she continues to recover.

We have exhausted all investigative avenues to identify the vehicle and driver and are asking for the public’s help.

The suspect vehicle is believed to be a white or light-coloured Toyota Camry or Corolla which may have front-end damage
