PSA: Special meeting of Calgary Council scheduled May 13

A Special Meeting of Calgary City Council has been called for Monday, May 13, 2024 at 9:30 a.m. in the Council Chamber to announce the results of the mayoral recall petition. In this special meeting, the City Clerk will make a verbal declaration of the results of the recall petition and will deliver a presentation on the recall petition verification process. The role of Council during the Special Council Meeting will be to receive the City Clerk’s declaration with respect to the recall petition for the Corporate Record.

This is a public meeting, and members of the media and the public are welcome to attend in person or watch online at calgary.ca/watchlive; however, there is no public participation portion during the Special Meetings.
