PSA: City-hosted Home Improvement Information Sessions on June 1 and 7

Calgarians are invited to drop-in to free community information sessions to meet with City experts and get tips to help save time and money on home and yard improvements. 

Whether looking to build a deck, thinking about a basement renovation or secondary suite, The City will have trade inspectors (building, electrical, and plumbing) and bylaw experts on hand to give advice and help with: 

• Determining the specific property requirements.
• Talking through projects to make them safer.
• Answering questions about electrical, plumbing and building code and land use requirements, including how to prepare for the different types of inspections.
• Providing tips on what to look for when hiring a contractor, and what to include in contracts.

Information Session details:

June 1 (Saturday): 10 a.m. – 1 p.m. at Vivo (11950 Country Village Link N.E.)

June 7 (Friday): 2:30 – 5:30 p.m. at Genesis Centre (#10 – 7555 Falconridge Blvd N.E.)
