PSA: 2019 Civic census door-to-door collection begins today

Count yourself in! Census takers have begun this year’s door-to-door collection.

Please take a moment to complete the census. The information collected helps The City of Calgary make informed decisions and plan City services, such as garbage collection, roads, transit, water treatment and supply services, recreation programs and much more.

If residents are not home at the time of visit, the census taker will leave a notice of Municipal Census Call.

Calgarians can also complete their Census online at calgary.ca/census or by calling 311.

Remember all census takers wear a photo identification badge issued by The City of Calgary and all information provided during this process is confidential and secure.

The 2019 census results will be available approximately three months after census collection is complete.
