Police seeking help to identify hit-and-run suspect

We are asking for the public’s help to identify a suspect and vehicle believed to be involved in a hit-and-run earlier this month.

On Saturday, Aug. 3, 2024, at approximately 4:45 p.m., it is believed a man reversed from his parking stall into another vehicle and left the scene without providing any contact information in the parking lot of Sobeys located at 20 McKenzie Towne Ave S.E.

 A child passenger in the victim’s vehicle sustained minor injuries from the hit.

After exhausting all leads, we are now asking for the public’s help to identify the man believed to be involved.

He is described as about 5’9” tall, with a heavy build, wearing a blue Alaska T-shirt with denim pants, beige shoes and wore sunglasses on his head.

The vehicle is described as a white Ford F150 with an unknown license plate.
