Police seeking assistance in southwest armed robbery

We are asking for the public’s help as we continue to investigate an armed robbery that occurred at a southwest business.

At approximately 11:43 p.m., on Monday, Aug. 10, 2026, we received reports that two masked men entered Austin’s Bar and Grill, located at 11625 Elbow Drive S.W. It is believed the men had a firearm and ordered staff and patrons to the ground before stealing cash from the business.

The suspects fled the area in what witnesses describe as a dark SUV.

We are asking anyone who was in the area at the time of the robbery, or who may have CCTV, dashcam or residential security footage from the area, to contact police by calling 403-266-1234. Tips can also be submitted anonymously to Crime Stoppers through any of the following methods:
