Police seek to identify person with information in southwest shooting

We are asking for the public’s help to identify a man who may have information regarding a shooting that occurred earlier this month in the southwest.

On Friday, June 5, 2026, at approximately 10:55 p.m., police responded to reports of a shooting at a residence in the 1300 block of 14 Avenue S.W.

Upon arrival, officers located a man suffering from gunshot wounds. The victim was transported to hospital in critical condition and was later upgraded to stable, though his injuries are considered life-altering.

Investigators later determined a second victim had also been injured. Witnesses told police the man fled before officers arrived. Evidence suggests he left the area in a vehicle and was taken to hospital, where he was found to be in stable condition with life-altering injuries. The driver of the vehicle was taken into custody on outstanding warrants.

As part of the ongoing investigation, we are sharing a photo of a man believed to have information about the shooting in the 1300 block of 14 Avenue S.W.
