Update: Police seek public assistance in locating break and enter suspect

UPDATE: Dylan Joseph DURANT, who was wanted on warrants in relation to this file, has been located and is in custody.

We are asking for the public’s help to locate a man who is believed to be responsible for multiple break and enters in the southeast communities of Maple Ridge and Willow Park.

It is believed the suspect broke into a residence, a utility trailer and a parked vehicle during the early morning hours on Friday, May 1, 2026.

At approximately 1:30 a.m., it is believed the suspect gained entry into a residence in the 10200 block of Maple Grove Place S.E., and was seen on CCTV footage exiting the residence with various electronics.

At approximately 3:22 a.m., the suspect broke into a utility trailer located in the 10700 block of Willowgreen Drive S.E., and allegedly stole various sporting equipment and unopened oil containers.

At approximately 5 a.m., it is believed the suspect gained entry into a parked white 2012 Jeep Wrangler located in the 10200 block of Maplecreek Drive. S.E., but did not steal items from the vehicle.

After reviewing CCTV footage, investigators were able to identify the suspect.

Dylan Joseph DURANT, 32, is wanted on warrants for one count of break and enter with intent, two counts of break and enter to commit and six counts of failure to comply with a release order.
