Police seek public assistance in identifying armed robbery suspect

We are asking the public for their help in identifying an unknown man who is believed to be connected to an armed robbery that took place last week in the southeast. 

On Wednesday, Sept. 21, 2022, at 1:05 a.m., an unknown man entered the Cash Casino Calgary located at 4040 Blackfoot Trail S.E., and allegedly stole an undisclosed amount of cash while claiming he was armed. 

The man fled the area prior to police arrival in a newer model white Mitsubishi SUV. A photo of the suspect’s vehicle is available on the City of Calgary’s Newsroom. 

No injuries were reported to police and no weapon was seen by staff or customers.

The suspect is described as approximately 50 years old with a heavy build, and was last seen wearing a black puffy jacket, an N95 style mask, grey and black sweatpants, black sandals, a black toque and safety glasses.
