Police seek public assistance in identifying person of interest in arson investigation

We are asking for the public’s help to identify a person of interest believed to have information regarding an arson investigation.

At approximately 1:30 a.m., on Tuesday, Nov. 4, 2025, a fire ignited in the rear alley of a business located in the 700 block of 10 Avenue S.W. Although the fire was extinguished, the building sustained significant damage.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation, and police are turning to the public for information.

The person of interest is described as a man believed to be between 25 to 35 years old. He was seen wearing a white long-sleeve sweater layered over a black hoodie, a red vest, grey pants and black shoes.

Around the time of the incident, the man appears to have been in the area where the fire ignited, between 1:30 a.m. and 1:40 a.m.
