Police seek public assistance in identifying assault suspects
We are asking the public for their help in identifying a group of six male youths who are believed to be responsible for assaulting a teen boy at a southwest CTrain station last month.
On Monday, March 3, 2025, at approximately 6 p.m., a 14-year-old boy was walking inside the Anderson LRT station located at 11015 Macleod Trail S.W., when it is believed a group of six youths approached the boy, asking about the hoodie he was wearing. When the boy continued to walk away from the group, it is alleged one of the youths in the group struck the boy and a physical altercation between the group and the victim ensued.
A bystander who witnessed the assault called police.
When police arrived on scene at approximately 6:08 p.m., the suspects had already fled the area. Police quickly located the victim, who was transported to hospital for treatment of minor injuries.
After exhausting all investigative avenues to identify the suspects, police are turning to the public in hopes of advancing the investigation.
The first suspect is described as having a light skin tone, with brown hair, black rimmed glasses, wearing a red hoodie, faded and ripped blue jeans and black running shoes.
The second suspect is described as tall, with a dark skin tone, wearing a red backpack, with black pants, white shoes, a black jacket, a black face covering and a black head covering.
The third suspect is described as having a dark skin tone, wearing a black jacket, faded black denim jeans, white shoes, a red Bape backpack with black straps and a black head covering.
The fourth suspect is described as having a medium skin tone, wearing a black head covering, a black jacket with a hood, black pants and black shoes.
The fifth suspect is described as tall, wearing a black hoodie and a shiny black down-filled jacket without a hood, faded black denim jeans, grey or white sneakers and a black backpack.
The sixth suspect is described as wearing a grey hoodie with a black backpack, black pants and black shoes.
As the suspects are believed to be minors, we cannot share photos depicting their faces under the provisions of the Youth Criminal Justice Act.
