Police seek information in residential break and enter

We are asking anyone with information about a break and enter that took place earlier this year in the community of Mount Pleasant to come forward.

Between the dates of Saturday, July 16, 2022, at approximately 7 a.m., and Wednesday, July 20, 2022, at approximately 3 p.m., it is believed two suspects forcefully entered a residence located in the 500 block of 18 Avenue N.W., while the homeowners were away.

Once inside, the suspects took several items from the home.

We are asking for the public’s help to identify the suspects believed to be involved.

The first suspect is described as having a fair complexion, approximately 16 to 18 years old, approximately 6’ tall, with a muscular build, brown hair and was last seen wearing a red sports-style jersey with black and yellow markings, and black knee-length shorts.

The second suspect is described as having a fair complexion, approximately 15 to 18 years old, approximately 5’10” tall, with a medium build, dark-brown hair and was last seen wearing a cream-coloured baseball hat, a red sports-style jersey with black and yellow markings matching the first suspect’s jersey, and black knee-length shorts.

Investigators have provided a composite sketch of the jersey believed to be worn by the suspects and believe the jersey represents a local sports team or athletic group and is asking for anyone who may be familiar with the uniform to come forward to police.

We are asking anyone with information about this incident to contact police by calling 403-266-1234. Tips can also be submitted anonymously to Crime Stoppers through any of the following methods:
