Police seek information in relation to two connected sexual assaults

We are seeking information from the public after two women were sexually assaulted in separate incidents near the Chinook CTrain station earlier this month.

At approximately 4:45 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 13, 2025, a woman was walking northbound on 1A Street S.W. from the Chinook CTrain station, near the intersection of 58 Avenue S.W., when she was approached by an unknown man who grabbed her and touched her in a sexual manner without consent.

While reviewing CCTV footage from the area, investigators observed a second woman being assaulted in a similar manner at the same location just minutes later. The second victim has not yet reported the incident to police and the suspect remains at large.

We are hoping to speak with anyone who may have information about these incidents to help us advance the investigation.

Investigators are also seeking dashcam footage from the area of 58 Avenue S.W. and 1A Street S.W. on Saturday, Dec. 13, 2025, between 4:45 and 5 p.m.

Anyone who believes they are a victim of sexual assault is encouraged to report it regardless of when it occurred, and anyone with information about these incidents is asked to contact police by calling 403-266-1234.
