Police seek information in arson investigation

We are asking members of the public for any information they may have about an arson that was committed last month.

On Monday, Jan. 19, 2026, at approximately 9:20 p.m., an unknown masked person broke into an autobody shop located in the 4600 block of 12 Street N.E.

It is believed the suspect then set a fire inside, before fleeing the area.

The fire caused extensive damage to the business as well as to three unoccupied vehicles parked outside.
