Police seek information following Marlborough shooting

We are seeking information from the public following a shooting involving two vehicles in the northeast community of Marlborough on Thursday night. 

At approximately 9:25 p.m., on Thursday, June 18, 2026, near the 200 block of Maitland Crescent N.E., it is believed the occupants of a white 2010 Mazda 3 and a black Nissan Murano became involved in an interaction, during which an occupant of the Nissan pointed a firearm at the other vehicle.

The Mazda fled and the Nissan followed. Around the 5600 block of Madigan Drive N.E., the occupant of the SUV fired shots at the other vehicle, striking it three times, before turning northbound onto Manora Drive N.E. The occupants of the Mazda continued driving until they located a patrol officer and reported the incident. No injuries have been reported. 

After speaking with witnesses and reviewing CCTV footage, investigators are asking for the public’s help to identify the suspect vehicle and its occupant(s). 

Investigators are seeking dashcam or CCTV footage from the Marlborough areas of Manora and Maitland, between 9 p.m. and 10 p.m., on Thursday, June 18, 2026. Investigators are looking for footage showing:

·       A white, four-door 2010 Mazda 3

·       A black 2015-2024 Nissan Murano
