Police seek help identifying three suspects in assault with a weapon

We are seeking public assistance to help identify three male youths believed to be involved in an assault with a weapon.

At around 4:01 a.m. on Sunday, Jan. 25, 2026, a white Honda Civic drove into a parking lot near a convenience store in the 4700 block of 17 Avenue S.E. Three unknown males exited the vehicle and approached the victim, who was standing beside the store. One of the males allegedly struck the victim in the head while the others yelled and taunted him.

The three suspects then ran off. The victim attempted to follow, but the offenders re-engaged, chasing him and continuing to yell. One of the males then produced what appeared to be a BB gun and discharged approximately five rounds in the victim’s direction.

The suspects returned to the Honda Civic and fled westbound on 17 Avenue S.E. from 47 Street S.E.

A security guard observed the assault on CCTV and reported the incident to police.

After exhausting all investigative avenues to identify the suspects, police are turning to the public in hopes of advancing the investigation.

The first suspect is described as 17 to 20 years old, with a medium build and black hair. He was wearing a red graphic sweater, black pants and red and white shoes.

The second suspect is described as 17 to 20 years old, with a slim build and black hair. He was wearing a black Moose Knuckles jacket, black pants and black shoes.

The third suspect is described as 17 to 20 years old, with a medium build and black hair. He was wearing a black jacket with a fur‑lined hood, grey sweatpants and black sneakers with a white design.
